We are currently staying here and on our second day. The staff is absolutely amazing! Literally every single person that works here is by far the nicest person we have ever met. We had an issue with the mini fridge in our room and they took care of it immediately. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Every room has dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash along with hand soap and body lotion. If you forget anything they provide it for you. The pool is awesome and also very clean. The breakfast is by far one of the best we have ever had. I highly recommend staying here. You are a five minute drive to all of the Hershey attractions and literally right across the street from tons of restaurants as well as a grocery store. We will definitely be coming back here. ~ Kelly K

The front desk agent emma and ray (I think) we're absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond and ensured my package didn't melt for when I arrived and the room itself the sheets were dirty but they were able to fix it right away. Recommended an amazing Italian restaurant to us our first night and really helped get our vacation started off right. However, the room itself really needs to be updated. Everything was functional and okay but the beds were hard spring mattresses, the bathroom door was very loud and beat up, the hotel room door barely opened and was hard to open and close it. And the a/c unit on the wall didn't work (but the unit itself works). Honestly, we looked past all of the room issues because of the rockstar employees this location has at the front desk ~ Amy V

The Holiday Inn Express in Hershey, PA was extremely clean and comfortable when we stayed over Labor Day weekend. Shayna, the desk clerk, helped me to get my room booked over the phone and made sure that we had everything we needed when we checked in. She really went above and beyond when there was an issue with using my points. I am so happy that she knew what she was doing after the toll-free reservation line was unable to help me. The check-in was easy for the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The gym has three treadmills, among other equipment, which made it easy for me to stay on my marathon training schedule without the need to run outside in an unfamiliar area. We will likely stay again on our next trip to Hershey. ~ C M

If you are a fan of trains, this is the spot to stay in Hershey, as the back of the hotel overloooks the Norfolk Southern tracks. Thank you to the hotel's general manager, John, for making sure I received a room with a perfect view. (Pro tip: Book a king and ask John for room 332 or 330.) John also reached out several times to make sure I was happy with my stay -- which I was -- and his friendly and super professional approach means I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hershey. (Note: If you don't like trains, don't worry, this stretch of tracks has no crossings which means no train whistles. In fact, you won't even notice the trains passing unless you are really listening or happen to look out the window.) ~ Tim H

I am so impressed with the customer service, kindness and housekeeping. After recently traveling to this hotel, my son noticed that they left their pillow and a special item with it. We didn't think that we would ever get it back, but the housekeeper noticed we left it and put it aside for us. We received a phone call that it was found and it was mailed back to us, along with a Hershey Park teddy bear. We are so thankful for their thoughtfulness and consideration that the items meant a lot to my son. The hotel is clean, service is great, housekeeping was courteous and kind, location was close to Hershey and many other areas we traveled to. Would definitely recommend! ~ Miegan R

We stayed here for two nights because we were in the area for a concert. We couldn't have asked for a better place! Everyone was very friendly throughout our entire stay. I want to mention Princeton by name - he always had a smile, friendly conversation, and jokes available. He was fantastic! The hotel itself is very well maintained and clean. Good complimentary coffee and cookies in the lobby, complimentary hot breakfast, and an indoor pool/hot tub. Our rooms were cozy and clean. Beds were just firm enough without feeling rocky, and the pillows were heavenly! After our first night, when housekeeping came by, they left a cute surprise for my son. They tucked his teddy bear under his blanket, with a pillow. Little extra touches like that mean a lot when we stay somewhere, and it made my son smile. We'll absolutely be staying here again when we visit the Hershey area! ~ Brittany G

In Harrisburg?! STAY HERE! Yet another nice Holiday Inn that we’ve stayed at. Hotel manager is a consummate professional. Complete and stark contrast to the staff and building I dealt with at the other Holiday Inn across town, days ago. Although the other H-inn had a better breakfast and slightly larger rooms, the cleanliness and other factors make this one the better choice. If I’m ever in this area, and I will be again, I’m only staying at this Holiday Inn going forward. It’s so conveniently located and is miles above cleaner than the other Harrisburg Holiday Inn. I cannot stress enough, choose this one! ~ Bob C

After a slight change in travel plans, we arrived earlier than the check-in time, but decided to stop by the hotel to see if our room was ready, and were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in. The lobby is very welcoming with an awesome fireplace, free fruit water, coffee and snacks (cookies,fruit). There is also a pantry area next to the front desk with cold drinks, snacks, etc to purchase. Front desk staff were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the area. Close to the Hershey attractions. Hotel is away from the roadway and very quiet. Beds were a bit firm, but comfortable. Enjoyed our stay and cant wait to return! ~ Melissa B

Front desk was very pleasant and helpful along with fast easy check-in. Overall this place was very clean from the lobby to the breakfast area to the room I stayed in. The morning breakfast had a very nice selection along with huge proportions which was nice to see for a change. The room was immaculate the bed and the pillows were comfortable and housekeeping was great at providing extra towels. I'm not much of a pool person but I tried it and found the pool to be clean and enjoyable. Overall I would definitely stay at this Holiday Inn Express again. ~ JOHN T

We were so close to Hershey park. It was so nice and convenient, the pool was open until 11, the breakfast was open early morning to late morning and had a really huge delicious spread. The whole hotel and especially the rooms were so clean and nice. The toiletries are name brand and they even have full size pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Plenty of parking and we brought the dogs and there was a lot of outdoor space to walk them so they could go potty. They even had complimentary poop bags! ~ Haley D

Holiday in Harrisburg is an excellent place to stay and extremely convenient and close to eateries and shopping. The hotel is also a 5 minute drive to Hershey. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and ready to meet any of their guest needs. The complimentary continental breakfast is excellent and fresh and also served late on the weekends. Late weekend checkout is another great perk offered by Holiday Inn express. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area and would definately stay there again. ~ Jason C

Friendly staff and very clean. First experience with my pup in a hotel and it was great. Coco approves! Still leaving it at 5 stars but the older gal is a bit gruff for the morning. I'm not sure if that's just her voice and mannerisms or if she's in it bad mood. I'm not sure what I can grab and what needs to be handed to me at the covid friendly breakfast. When I asked if I could have a banana the way she said "get a banana" was very off-putting. ~ Z P

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. We stayed for 1 night on our trip to Hershey Chocolate World. We didn't have a wait checking in. Our room was perfect, clean and well decorated! It was a good size too with a king size bed. The best thing was the breakfast. So many options! A make your own pancake station, muffins, cinnamon rolls, egg white omelettes, sausage, potatoes. It was really good! The employees were all very nice too. Thank you for a wonderful experience!! ~ Stephanie B

I am already a big fan of holiday inn chain of hotels . I have been to different part of the world and been staying various hotels but Holiday Inn is something I always prefer . This was a quick trip to Hershey’s Chocolate world and decided to stay near by . This one is just 15 min drive from the park . Very warm staff member , very nice specious rooms . Pool and jacuzzi was the cherry on top . Very nice American breakfast. Overall we had a very nice stay . Thank you ~ Arijit C

This is a great little hotel tucked away just around the bend from all the busyness of Hershey. Everything is close by, including lots of dining options. While it is an Express, the quality is top notch. This hotel has free breakfast, a small game room, a pool, laundry options, a small business center, and just an overall clean feeling (and that's super important! Most notable though is the staff. They are all super kind and accommodating and I need to give an extra-special shoutout to Emma. She helped us out with an early check-in AND set up our room with some special features for my son who was celebrating his birthday. We walked in to fun streamers hanging over the main entrance, balloons everywhere and a special card, gift and even a cake. It was way more than we expected and made his stay all the more special. We enjoyed the spacious room and pleasant hotel and are even considering making this an annual visit now. Don't pass up this small hotel just off the path. It is worth your time to check it out and you are sure to enjoy your stay in Hershey while not breaking the bank. ~ Megan E

The hotel is so close to everything and easy to get to when traveling. The staff was courteous and the managers were very accommodating to our needs. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is delish!!! We didn't get to use the pool or hit tub but it looked inviting. I would definitely stay here again. One thing, there is a train that travels right behind the hotel. It didn't bother me because I have one by my house, but I put it in this review, so as to be aware. ~ Jennifer M

Room was very clean. Most of the staff was friendly. We booked one night but ended up staying two. The first morning John was looking after the breakfast, he was great! This morning I waited 10 minutes just to get a coffee. The man behind the counter just sat playing on his computer (I think he may have been the owner) Another guest went and asked him for help and he went and got a lady to get our coffee. ~ jeannie S

Love this hotel. I have used it for years whenever I attended a conference in Hershey and lately I had an extended stay with a family member in PSU Hershey Medical. Staff worked with me to extend a 2 night stay to ultimately 13 night stay as the medical case took several unexpected turns. Such peace of mind during this stressful time. I cannot begin to express how awesome they were. Going to Hershey? I strongly recommend this hotel. ~ Jeannette C

The TV in our room was a 42" RCA flat-screen and the coffee maker was a Keurig. That alone made me appreciate the dedication the hotel had to keeping its guests happy. Factor in the genuinely personable greetings and attention the staff showed toward us and it was my best stay so far anywhere for 2017. This would definitely make me not only stay here again but use the Holiday Inn Express brand anywhere I go. Thank you for the hospitality! ~ Mike B

Stayed here for two nights during a conference at the nearby Hershey Lodge (<5 minutes away). My room, which had a queen bed and love seat, was very spacious for just me, and would've accommodated two adults easily. Room was clean, A/C was blowing strong and the check in & check out procedures were painless. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone traveling to the Hershey area. ~ Bradley B

The rooms are awesome. Neat and clean, beds are comfortable. Pool is very nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was very good and a lot of choices. Fresh coffee all day and nice sitting area to relax and read the paper. Plenty of things to do in area as well as restaurants. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and definitely will go back. ~ David P

Very nice and clean hotel. The hotel itself is small and the staff is super nice & welcoming. The rooms are not too small just about the right size. The hotel is located across the commercial area where we bought some food and supplies, this was a plus for us. Standard holiday Inn breakfast was also a nice addition. I'd recommended this hotel if you are around. ~ David B

This hotel has nice rooms and one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. There is a small indoor pool and hot tub for guests. There is a freight train nearby but I never heard it from inside the hotel and our room was on that side of the building. It's about 5 minutes to drive to Hershey Park and very simple. Also, there's restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. ~ Matthew K

The staff is amazing. Even when the power went out and I had to go up the stairs to go to my room they offered to carry my luggage. The rooms are really nice. Other Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express Hotels have dirt or debris in the bathroom or on the floor. I found nothing. No hair in the bathtub or sink. A really nice hotel.
